Calico Patch

My experience at Calico Patch has been nothing but great. I have received good advice, quality material and found someone happy to teach me if the time permits at the counter.

Calico Patch has helped me as a beginner quilter and then over the last three years. I have been treated respectfully and received advice about how to grade and select material, colour choices, quilt construction etc and it hasn't been troublesome.

As a quilter Calico Patch provides such a good range of completed quilts to look at and gain inspiration from. I love visiting the store just to see what quilts have recently been made and I am now sending inexperienced quilters to the store to gain inspiration for their next project.

For those who have had a bad experience I would say this is rare and it was a shame to read such a negative one sided review. The representation made against the owner and the store has never been experienced by me over the last three years and I have asked plenty of questions and been treated with nothing but respect. I am pleased with the service I have received and enjoy the lack of trolls.

There are limited stores in Canberra that stock a wide range of quality materials and completed quilts, Calico Patch is one of few gems left. The alternative is online purchasing of material and this can be very hit and miss if you don't know what your looking for or the quality of the material manufacturers.
